Following the iconic Jesus Shoes, Brooklyn-based creative agency MSCHF collaborates with American rapper Lil Nas X to create a customized Nike Air Max 97 that references to Satan in Luke 10:18. Individually numbered to 666 pairs, the Nike Air Max 97 MSCHF Lil Nas X Satan Shoes features a black leather upper with 3M-reflective tonal mesh overlays throughout the silhouette. The Air Max unit contains 60 cubic centimetres of red ink and one drop of human blood. Red MSCHF & Lil Nas X branding is printed on the heel tabs with red inverted crucifix motif printed on the tongue pull tab, alongside Luke 10:18 text printed on the lateral forefoot and X/666 printed on the lateral heel. Additional details include a bronze pentagram lace jewel, collaborative branding printed on the red wool insole, and black outsole.
