Nike materialized the hybrid creation of their 2017 Vote Forward winner Sean Wotherspoon, drawing influence from his nostalgic love for vintage hats and his two favourite silhouettes: the Air Max 1 & 97. The Nike Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon features a multicolour corduroy upper, removable wave patches on the tongue, and velcro pull tabs with VA → LA embroidered on the heel. Additional details include a white midsole and collaborative branding patch embroidered on the insole.
